Motion graphics with your AI model
The automation connector can use the AI model in your MCP client to create motion graphics for the edit.
Ask for an animated opener, lower third, logo reveal, chart, product callout, custom transition, or a complete motion-graphics video. When the Rendley agent reaches that part of the edit, it gives your connected model the creative and technical context needed to author the animation.
Create a 15-second animated launch teaser using our brand kit. Open with the logo assembling from geometric shapes, reveal the three product benefits with kinetic type, and end on “Available now.” Let my connected model author the motion graphics.
Why use model-authored motion graphics
- Use the model plan you already have. Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or another capable MCP client writes the animation using its existing model access.
- No Rendley generation credits. Authoring and validation do not consume Rendley generative-media credits. Your model provider’s normal usage limits still apply.
- Keep the animation editable. The result is a live motion clip on the timeline, not a flattened video file.
- Render at any resolution. Rendley executes the animation for every frame during preview and export, so it stays sharp from 360p to 4K.
- Use your real assets. The model can place supplied images, logos, and fonts inside the animation instead of recreating them.
- Iterate safely. If validation fails, Rendley returns the exact problem so the model can correct the code and try again without consuming credits.
What it can create
- Animated intros, outros, and title cards.
- Lower thirds, name straps, labels, and calls to action.
- Logo reveals and brand idents.
- Kinetic typography and text-led social videos.
- Charts, counters, diagrams, timelines, and infographic scenes.
- Product callouts, feature highlights, and UI-style animations.
- Background loops, particles, shapes, and abstract visual systems.
- Custom wipes, reveals, and scene transitions.
- Multi-scene explainers built almost entirely from motion graphics.
- Photo carousels and animated layouts that incorporate supplied images.
How the handoff works
- The Rendley agent plans the video and reaches a scene that needs motion graphics.
- It pauses with a focused brief that includes the scene’s purpose, timing, dimensions, brand styling, and available image resources.
- Your connected model reads Rendley’s motion-clip authoring and design guides.
- The model writes JavaScript that draws the animation and sends the source back to the paused edit.
- Rendley validates the source and inserts the motion clip at its planned point on the timeline.
- The agent continues with the rest of the edit and export.
In clients that support this workflow, everything happens in the same conversation. There is no code to copy between tools.
Brand-aware by default
The authoring brief can include the workspace brand kit: colors, fonts, text styles, logo assets, and design direction. Rendley also exposes the same motion-design guidance used by its internal generator, so the connected model receives more than a bare technical format.
For a consistent multi-scene video, ask for one visual system across the entire piece:
Use the same navy-and-orange palette, type scale, rounded cards, and spring-based motion language in every scene. Keep headings large and all important content inside a 10% safe margin.
Images, logos, and fonts inside motion clips
Motion graphics can use more than text and shapes. The model can place supplied media in the animation, such as product photography in a carousel, a logo in an opener, or screenshots inside a device frame.
Uploaded fonts can be embedded by Rendley at runtime. This is one reason local previews are unnecessary: the final clip is rendered with the real project resources and brand fonts inside Rendley.
Editing the result later
Open the finished project in Rendley Studio to move or retime the motion clip like any other timeline item.
The model can expose selected values as ordinary editor controls. Text, colors, or other properties can remain adjustable while the underlying animation stays intact, so a headline change does not require regenerating the whole scene.
You can also return to the MCP conversation and ask the agent to revise an existing motion clip.
Paid fallback generation
Model-authored motion graphics are the recommended path. If the connected model cannot produce a valid clip, you can approve Rendley’s server-side generator as a fallback. That fallback uses Rendley credits and takes additional generation time.
